Repair and maintenance of an ESPEC temperature and humidity test chamber in Vinh Phuc

In November, upon the customer’s request, VintechME engineers conducted an on-site survey and inspection of an ESPEC temperature and humidity environmental test chamber (climatic chamber) in Vinh Phuc.

Equipment Condition Before Repair

During on-site inspection, VintechME engineers identified the following issues:

• The chamber displayed an “Air conditioner overheating” alarm
• After opening the chamber housing, it was found that:
  • The circulation fan was not operating and had failed
  • The thermal relay was damaged

Repair Solution

• Replaced the faulty fan with a new unit having equivalent technical specifications
• Replaced the damaged thermal relay with a new one
  • The relay was custom-engineered by VintechME engineers
  • This solution was necessary because original ESPEC parts are proprietary, not readily available, and approximately 15 times more expensive than the in-house solution

Testing & Commissioning After Repair

• Conducted trial runs at various temperature and humidity conditions as required by the customer
• All parameters met the required specifications after testing

Third-Party Calibration

• To ensure post-repair quality, the customer engaged an independent calibration provider
• Calibration results: PASS

Acceptance & Warranty

• The customer successfully completed acceptance of the repaired chamber
• The equipment is covered by a 6-month warranty after repair
