Overview

The RS-8220G Precision Steel Ball Impact Tester is designed for testing products such as mobile phones, tablet PCs, electronic dictionaries, e-books, headphones, smartwatches, power adapters, and various materials like plastic shells, ceramics, acrylic, and fiberglass. It also tests the firmness of coatings on these materials.

Features

• Uses OMRON NB5Q color touchscreen and Mitsubishi PLC control, allowing settings to be adjusted on the touchscreen, including lift/drop, drop count, and infrared laser control for precise positioning of the steel ball impact point. The machine displays the number of tests performed and the current height value (mm).
• Uses Panasonic AC servo motor and reducer for lifting power, PLC-controlled height with positioning error of ±1mm.
• Uses DC electromagnetic control, where the steel ball is placed under an electromagnetic suction cup. The ball is automatically lifted, and when the release button is pressed, the suction cup releases the ball, allowing it to fall freely and impact the sample surface. For larger steel or acrylic balls, a clamping fixture is required.
• Uses precision linear slide guides and synchronous belts for lifting and lowering, ensuring stable operation without side-to-side shaking.
• Infrared laser is used to locate the impact point. Before testing, simply aim the infrared laser at the impact point for accurate positioning.
• PLC-controlled secondary impact prevention device ensures that when the steel ball rebounds after impacting the sample, the secondary impact device will prevent the ball from being loaded if the rebound height is ≥300mm.
