AS the product needs drop verification test in R&D stage, verification drop test in small-scale trial production stage and spot check drop test after mass production, generally a mobile phone to do at least 500 drop tests from R&D stage to mass production. In addition, each product test to be tested more than 20 times, so the demand for drop test by major manufacturers is also increasing, However, the traditional drop testing machine must be clamped and placed by the operator, and the samples need to be picked up manually after the test. After the test, the operator can only visually detect whether the appearance is damaged, whether the TP module and CCD module are good, and the efficiency is low. Machine features

  • This machine adopts the split design of control computer and host computer. The control software can set parameters such as the number of incoming materials, the sequence of product falling surface/angle/edge, falling height, falling times, and automatically send the tested products out of the machine through the discharge port after the test. Display the curent status of 6-axis robot, conveying mechanism, face changing mechanism, etc, mode can adjust the transmission speed of the feeding and discharging mechanism, teach the 6-axis robot to pick up products from the feeding end, and adjust the width of face changing.
  • The machine adopts a 6-axis robot to complete the operation links of product feeding, discharging, picking, product drop alignment, face change, etc, with extremely low drop angle error and good repeatability.
  • The machine uses an industrial camera with 12million pixels to carry out visual analysis and positioning to assist in picking up products.
  • The machine adopts sensor motor to rotate in X direction on the drop frame:0~±180°, so as to meet the drop test requirements of different parts such as edges, corners and surfaces of the product.
  • This machine adopts Japan Panasonic servo motor+synchronous pulley to adjust the drop height of the main frame for durable use.
  • The machine adopts German schmitz vacuum suction cup to adsorb mobile phones, with 6-axis robot and X-direction rotation mechanism, it can accurately complete the drop of the product's diamond, angle and surface, and automatically compensate the drop height according to the drop positon.
  • The coutomer only needs to input the product size to be dropped in the program: length L, width W, thickness T, diagonal distance di. During the test, it can meet the customer's drop test of two large surfaces, four narrow surfaces, four corners and eight edges. Since the drop height is automatically calculated in the program according to the target impact height set by the customer(after the product is adsorbed on the suction cup, the actual distance from the dropped part to the ground), once the test is carried out, the program will drive the sucked product to rise to the drop height(this height will be greater than the target impact height, and the greater distance will be mentioned in the following formula ) for automatic drop. After each drop, the synchronous belt will drive the dropped suction cup holder to automatically return to the adsorption height, and then carry out the next drop.
  • Special manual control box for easy operation: start, stop and reset.
  • For products such as mobile phones or tablets, two large surfaces, two long edges, two short edges, multiple edges(edges) and multiple angles need to be tested continuously. The program has the function of multi-stage drop times according to the sequence of product drop tests. During the test, the program will automatically compensate the drop height according to the sequence of the set times, so as to realize multiple the automatic test of multiple parts(lower right figure) does not need to adjust the drop height of different parts every time, which greatly improves the test efficiency. This function is very practical.
  • The standard TTL high-speed machine phase trigger signal port is connected with the trigger signal of high-speed cameras of American phantom(vision research) and other companies to improve the consistency and accuracy of the test.
  • The product is released at a height of 300mm, and the product drop angle is close to the test setting angle.
  • The machine is designed with a fully enclosed aluminum frame and is equipped with a safety door. In the automatic operation mode, the operation door can be closed for testing. During the test, the door is automatically locked. After the test, the operation door can be opened for the next test; In manual mode, the safety door is not locked; Improved operation safety.
